Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment 2020: Check new amendment made relating to special qualification

Office of Director General of Police, Rajasthan has released a notification regarding changes in Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment 2019-2020. In the notification, the authority has disseminated information on particular amendments made in marks allocated for special qualification to the police related diploma or degree.
As per previous rules, candidates holding MA or MSc in Criminology, Cyber security or related subjects were to receive five marks and four marks for Graduation in Police administration, Law or society related issues. After the new amendment, candidates holding MA or MSc in Criminology or MSc in Cyber security or post-graduation in any police administration related course will be awarded five marks. While rests of the rules will remain the same. Diploma holders in any of the above subjects will receive three marks as special marks. The written exam for Rajasthan police constable that is yet to be scheduled will have four different sections – Reasoning, logic and basic computer literacy, 60 questions will be asked from this section and sectional marks will remain 30 for this section. Knowledge of staututory provision related to crime against women and children - 10 questions will be asked from this section and sectional marks will remain 5 for this section. General Knowledge, General Science, Current Affairs – 35 questions will be asked with total marks for this section will be 17.5. History, Geography, Economy, Polity, Culture and Arts of Rajasthan – this section will have 22.5 marks and the number of questions will be 45.
