As per media reports, Rajasthan police constable exam is to be held in July. The exam for the recruitment of 5438 General Constable, Constable Driver, Constable Band, Constable Cavalry and other posts was delayed due to the nationwide lockdown necessitated due to COVID -19 pandemic. As the country is moving towards normalcy now and unlocking the country in a graded manner is being tried, we can expect the authority to announce the date soon.

Rajasthan Police Constable Exam notification was released on the official website of Rajasthan police on December 4, 2019. In the notification, the office of Director General of Police Rajasthan has invited application to fill more than five thousand vacant posts for constables under different categories. Online application started in December 2019 and ended in February.

The written test is going to be the first stage of the recruitment process. Candidates have to appear for the written test of 150 marks. Questions are expected to come from Logical Reasoning, Basic Computer Literacy, General Knowledge, General Science, Current Affairs, History, Geography, Economy, Polity, Culture and Arts of Rajasthan. To qualify the exam, General and backward classes (OBC & MBC) and ST/SC candidates need to score 40% and 36% respectively. The written test will be followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Proficiency Test (for drivers, band, mounted, dog squad).
