Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released RBI Assistant 2022 short notification on February 14 for 950 vacancies. Last year, the recruitment did not take place. The detailed notification and application form will be released on February 17. Candidates can submit their application forms and fees till March 8. The prelims exam will be conducted on March 26 and 27. The application fee is INR 450 for OBC/General/EWS candidates and INR 50 for SC/ST/PWD/EXS.

RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria

To apply for RBI Assistant exam, the age of candidates should be between 20 and 28 years. Candidates must have completed graduation from any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent. Candidates must have knowledge of computers. Candidates should be proficient in the local language of the state/UT they are applying.

RBI Assistant Selection Process

The selection process includes preliminary and mains exams followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The basic pay of RBI Assistant is INR 14,650 per month (This means INR 13, 150 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates). The pay scale is INR 13,150-750 (3)-15,400-900 (4)-19,000-1,200 (6)-26,200-1,300 (2)-28,800-1,480 (3)-33,240-1750 (1)-34,990 (20 years). Currently, the initial monthly gross emoluments for RBI Assistants are INR 36,091.
