RPSC RAS Revised Prelims Result Soon

RPSC RAS prelims result 2022 will be released again. Honourable Rajasthan High Court quashed the RPSC Prelims result released in November. The High Court directed Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) to revise the result and reissue it. The Commission will release the revised result and the number of candidates eligible for the RAS main exam will be revised again.

A group of candidates files a writ petition against the commission, raising the objections against various answers in the official answer key released by the commission. The Court upheld some objections raised in the petition and quashed the official answer key released by the Commission. Consequently, the result based on the answer key was also annulled by the court. There were objections raised on 12 answers published in the official answer key. The Court heard the petition for each of the objections and allowed 6 objections related to the answer key.
So the new answer key will have six answers altered after the consultation with the expert committee. The Commission will release the new answer key and revise the result based on the new answer key. This was the reason for postponing the RPSC RAS main exam 2022.

Honourable High Court accepted the objections raised on the following question.

1. Question No. 1
2. Question No. 31
3. Question no.62 - Answer was changed. Option no.1 was held to be the correct answer.
4. Question no.98 - The matter was remanded back to the expert committee to re-look into the matter vide reasoned opinion.
5. Question no.105 - The matter was remanded back to the expert committee to re-look into the matter vide reasoned opinion.
6. Question no.122- The expert opinion is upheld.

Objections were rejected.

4. Question no.122- The expert opinion is upheld.
5. Question No. 41 was to be deleted because two answer options were correct.

RPSC RAS Prelims Revised Result

RPSC need to reissue the answer key and revise the prelims result based on the directions given by the Court on the aforesaid questions. RPSC RAS prelims exam was conducted on October 27 and the prelims result was released on November 19.
