Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will announce RRB NTPC 2021 result for CBT 1 exam on January 15. The result will be announced in PDF form on various regional websites of RRBs such as rrbmumbai.gov.in, rrbcdg.gov.in, rrbsecunderabad.nic.in, and many more. The result PDF will display the roll numbers of qualified candidates. Along with the result, RRBs will also release the post-wise and category-wise cutoff marks as well as the scorecard.

RRB NTPC exam was conducted from December 28, 2020, to July 31, 2021, in seven phases. Over, 1.20 crore candidates had appeared for the CBT 1 exam.

According to the RRB NTPC normalisation process, the marks obtained in the exam will be calculated on the basis of an average score of the top one per cent of the candidates considering all shifts. The marks will be calculated up to five decimal places. The normalisation of marks in the RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam will be done since the exam was conducted in multiple sessions. For eg: If a candidate attempts 60 of the total 100 questions. Out of these, 54 are correct answers, there will be negative marks for six wrong answers. Therefore, positive marks will be 54 and negative marks will be 2. The net score will be 54 and after deducting two for negative answers, the score becomes 52. The raw score out of 100 will be calculated as 52/98 X 100, which will be 53.06.
