RRB NTPC 2022 CBTST: Link to Choose Language For Typing Test Activated

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have activated the link to exercise the option for Typing Language of either English/Hindi for Computer Based Typing Skill Test. If candidates do not choose the typing language within the stipulated time, the default language for typing will be English. Candidates are advised to choose the language option carefully. Option once exercised, cannot be changed under any circumstances. The link to choose language for RRB NTPC Typing Test will be available upto July 25.

RRB NTPC CBT 2 exam for levels 2, 3 and 5 was held from June 12 to 17. RRB NTPC CBT 2 result 2022 for Level 2 and 5 was published on July 18. The shortlisted candidates will appear for Computer Based Typing Skill Test on August 12. RRB NTPC typing test is conducted for the posts of Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Time Keeper, Typing Skill Test (TST).

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2022 for Typing Skill Test

Typing Test will be conducted online for a duration of 10 minutes. Candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Personal Computer only without editing tools and spell check facility. RRB NTPC Typing Test is qualifying in nature and marks obtained at this stage will not be counted for the final merit list.

5 per cent mistakes of the total words typed may be ignored and thereafter for every mistake corresponding number of words will be deducted from the total words typed for arriving at the final speed according to the illustration/formula. Mistakes to the extent of 5 per cent of the total words typed will be ignored and thereafter for every full or half mistake, corresponding number of words will be deducted from the total words typed for arriving at the final speed. The transcripts of those candidates who do not type out 300 words / 1500 strokes in English or 250 words/1250 strokes in Hindi in the prescribed time will not be evaluated.
