RRB NTPC 2025 UG Exam: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are conducting the RRB NTPC UG level day 1 exam from today, August 7, 2025. As per the schedule released, the RRB NTPC UG exam will be conducted from August 7 to September 9, 2025, with three shifts daily. The RRB NTPC UG exam timings for three shifts are: 9 AM to 10:30 AM, 12:45 PM to 2:15 PM, and 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

Candidates must note that the shift timings will be mentioned on the RRB NTPC admit card along with exam date. As per the RRB NTPC UG revised exam pattern, there will be three sections. The General Awareness section includes 40 questions, carrying a total of 40 marks. The Mathematics section has 30 questions for 30 marks, while the General Intelligence and Reasoning section also comprises 30 questions, worth 30 marks. Overall, the exam includes a total of 100 questions, carrying 100 marks.

On every exam day, three shifts is being held, each 90 minutes long (120 minutes for PwBD candidates with scribes). Candidates appearing for the RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam for undergraduate level can check the table to know the shift timings, including reporting, gate closing and exam slots:

RRB NTPC 2025 UG Exam Day Guidelines & Prohibited Items

Candidates must check the RRB NTPC 2025 exam day guidelines and prohibited items:

• Reach the RRB NTPC exam centre at least 30 minutes before reporting time to avoid delay
• They must note that no entry after the gate closing time will be given
• Prohibited Items: mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, bags, books/papers, metallic accessories (belts, bracelets), henna/Mehndi
• Do not carry a pen/pencil or stationery will be provided at the exam hall
• Follow simple dress code without metal components to ease security checks

What Candidates Need to Do When Appearing for RRB NTPC UG Exam 2025

• Download & print RRB NTPC UG admit card and city intimation slip.
• Verify all details (name, exam centre, shift, photo), and report errors to the officials  
• Plan travel route and locate the RRB NTPC UG exam centre one day in advance
• Pack all required documents in advance
• Avoid prohibited items and wear minimal, comfortable clothing for quick security checks.
