RRB NTPC CBT 1 Fee Refund 2026: Railway Recruitment Boards have started refund process of exam fees for candidates who appeared in CBT 1 for NTPC (Graduate) recruitment under CEN 05/2024. According to official notice, RRB NTPC graduate exam fee has already been refunded to most candidates. Some, refund transactions could not be completed due to incorrect bank account details submitted during RRB NTPC 05/2024 application process.

RRBs said that refunds have failed in some cases because of errors such as incorrect bank account numbers, wrong IFSC codes, and other banking details provided by candidates. Those whose refund transactions have failed will receive an SMS or email notification regarding this issue on June 2, 2026.

RRB NTPC Fee Refund: Bank Account Correction Link From June 3

To help affected candidates, RRBs will activate Bank Account Rectification Link on their official websites. RRB NTPC correction facility will be available from June 3 to 12, 2026. Candidates can use this link to update and verify their bank account details for getting refund amount. Those who fail to update their details till June 12 may not be able to receive refund, and no further requests regarding fee refund will be entertained after correction window closes.

Aadhaar-Linked Bank Account Mandatory

During RRB NTPC correction process, candidates have to validate their Aadhaar number. Once Aadhaar verification is completed, bank account linked with Aadhaar will automatically be displayed for confirmation and will be used for refund.

If no Aadhaar-linked bank account is found, candidates will be redirected to NPCI portal to complete Aadhaar bank account linking before returning to application page.

RRBs have informed that candidates who do not have their own bank account may provide Aadhaar linked bank account details of family member by following prescribed procedure.
