There are no sectional cut off in SBI PO prelims and mains exams. Candidates are only required to secure the overall cut off in the exam. Only those candidates are considered for the next round who secures the cut off marks. The cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to secure inorder to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round of selection process.
The final cutoff of SBI PO is calculated out of 100 marks. The marks secured by the candidates in the Mains exam are changed to 75. The Phase 3 marks are changed to 25.
SBI PO scorecard is released online separately for different stages of exams. To download the scorecard, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number, date of birth and captcha code. The hard copy of the scorecard is not sent to candidates by post. The scorecard comprises the section-wise and overall scores as well as cut off marks. The hard copy of the scorecard will not be sent to candidates by post. Based on the scores obtained in the prelims exam, candidates are selected for the mains exam. The mains score is used to select candidates for the Psychometric Test, Group Exercises and Interview. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. Only the marks obtained in the mains exam, group exercises and interview are taken into consideration for the final merit list.
Candidates who qualify Mains examination will be called for next stage of selection process as per SBI's recruitment rules. SBI PO final selection will be based on prescribed selection criteria after completion of all stages.
