SSB Constable Recruitment 2020: Last date for online application extended
SSB constable last date to apply online has been extended, read on to know details.
Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Ministry of Home Affairs has extended the online application date for recruitment of post of Constables. Interested and eligible candidates can now apply for posts on the official website of SSB - ssbrectt.gov.in on or before December 20, 2020, while the last date for the candidates belong to remote areas is December 27, 2020.
The recruitment will be held for 1522 posts under the constable category, the posts are as follows - Driver (Male Only), Laboratory Assistant, Veterinary, Ayah (Female Only), Carpenter, Plumber, Painter, Tailor, Cobbler, Gardner, Cook, Washerman, Barber, Safaiwala, Water Carrier (Male & Female) And Waiter (Male)) in Group-'C' Non-Gazetted. The recruitment for these posts is on a temporary basis, however, the shortlisted candidates are likely to be continued.

SSB Constable Selection Process
To be selected for the posts candidates have to pass several stages, Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency test (PET), written test, Documentation and Skill Test, Detailed Medical Test, Review Medical Exam and Final Selection. Selection process may vary as per posts.

The Eligible candidates can apply online on SSB official website, www.ssbrectt.gov.in. Application fee for General, EWS and OBS is Rs 100, for rest of the categories there is no application fee.
