SSC CGL 2025 Begins at 260 Centres Across 129 Cities
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam 2025 Begins: The Staff Selection Commission is conducting the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam from today, September 12. The CBT exam will be held till September 26, 2025, in multiple shifts at 260 centres across 129 cities. As per the Commission, 28.14 lakh candidates have registered and are expected to appear for the SSC CGL 2025 tier 1 exam. About 93% of the candidates got one of their first three choice cities.
For the remaining 7%, SSC has allotted nearby centres. This time, the Commission has introduced a few changes to the CGL exam to conduct it without any technical glitches. However, this only after the conduction of SSC CGL Tier 1 exam, candidates will get to know about it.
SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam 2025 Guidelines & What Candidates Should Do?
To avoid any issues, candidates are advised to check the SSC CGL 2025 exam guidelines provided below:
- Candidates must download and carry the SSC CGL admit card along with any one photo ID proof.
- Also, Aadhaar verification is mandatory.
- They are advised to plan their travel in advance.
- They must reach the SSC CGL exam centre early. Latecomers will not be allowed entry.
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices or any other electronic devices are not allowed.
- Candidates are advised to follow the instructions given by invigilators.
The Staff Selection Commission has released an advisory warning candidates against indulging in any form of malpractice during the exam. Disciplinary action will be taken against those found guilty of cheating, impersonation, or using unfair means. Also, candidates cannot discuss or disclose exam questions outside the test venue.
