SSC has released the tentative vacancy positions for SSC SI 2018. Total 1,578 vacancies have been announced. Candidates can check details below.

SSC CPO 2018 Vacancies Announced

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the tentative vacancies of SSC SI 2018. The Commission has announced total 1,578 vacancies. SSC CPO vacancies have been announced for SI post only, no vacancy has been released for ASI post. The vacancies have been announced on the official website.

As per the notice released for the number of vacancies, 1094 vacancies are available for SSC SI (General Duty) post. Out of these, 274 vacancies are available with CRPF, 508 vacancies are available with BSF, 106 vacancies are available with ITBP, and 206 vacancies are available with SSB. No vacancies are available for SI (GD) post with CISF.

A total of 361 vacancies are available for Male SI (Executive) in Delhi Police and 123 vacancies are for female SI (Executive) in Delhi Police.

Candidates are shortlisted for recruitment after qualifying in a written exam, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper 2 and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). In 2018, a total of 20920 candidates had cleared the written test which included 18750 male and 2170 female candidates. After this, the candidates who cleared the exam appeared for the PET/ PST that was conducted from July 21 to 31, 2019. Out of the 20920 successful candidates, 4461 cleared the PET/PST.
