SSC Exam 2024 Will Not Be Cancelled; Retest Likely for Affected Students, Confirms Chairman

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has ruled out cancellation of its recent recruitment exams despite allegations of irregularities and technical glitches. However, a retest may be conducted for candidates who were genuinely affected, SSC Chairman Braj Raj Sharma has said.

As reported by Times of India, Sharma clarified that Commission is actively reviewing complaints and examining possibility of re-examination for impacted candidates. “There is no question of cancelling the entire exam. The issue seems limited to specific centres, and we are assessing the extent of the problem,” he stated.

SSC Chairman added that detailed reports from exam centres have been sought and a high level committee is investigating it. Based on its findings, Commission will decide future course of action.
