Candidates must ensure that the background is plain and that the photo is taken in a well-lit area. The notice also includes examples of acceptable and unacceptable photo types. The SSC notice outlines five key reasons for the rejection of candidates' photographs:
- Photo without a plain background
- Photo of candidates wearing caps
- Candidates taking photos without shirts
- Photo is not sufficiently bright
- Blurred photo
Guidelines on How to Upload Signatures in SSC MTS 2024 Application Form
According to the notice, a common reason for signature rejection is "miniature" signatures. Candidates are advised to cut out the box and sign within it, ensuring that the signature fills at least 80% of the space. The notice provides examples of both correct and incorrect signature formats.
