SSC MTS Result 2019: Commission releases list of additional 9551 candidates for Paper-II
Earlier, the SSC MTS result 2019 was declared by SSC on November 5 and a total of 1,11,162 candidates qualified. Paper-II (Descriptive paper) will be held on November 24.
Staff Selection Committee (SSC) has released a list of 9,551 additional candidates who have qualified the Paper-I of Multi-tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination or SSC MTS 2019. Earlier, on November 5, 2019, the commission had released the SSC MTS result 2019 paper-I on the official website wherein a total of 1,11,162 candidates qualified for paper-II. The new list of additional candidates was released after the correction of certain discrepancies that were observed in the result of Paper-I.
The Paper-II of SSC MTS 2019 (Descriptive) is scheduled to take place on November 24, 2019. Along with the revised result, a revised cutoff has also been released. Candidates short-listed against the age-group of 18-27 years have also be considered for selection in the age-group of 18-25 years and vice versa in the final result depending upon the age, merit, and preference of the candidates.
Shortlisting of candidates for Tier 2 has been done based on the normalised marks in Tier 1. Candidates have been shortlisted in the ratio 1:15 (after applying tentative vacancies). The cutoff that has been applied to the normalize scores is 30 per cent for UR/EWS, 25 per cent for OBC and 20 per cent for others.

SSC MTS 2019 exam was conducted from August 2 to 22, 2019. The exam for Kashmir valley was held on September 27, 2019. A total of 38.58 lakh candidates had registered for the exam, out of which 19,19,004 candidates appeared for the test.
