SSC starting biometric registration from CGL 2020-21 exam again. See here for details.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released a notice for starting the Bio-metric registration at the exam centres again. The SSC will start this protocol of taking the biometric thumb impression of the candidates from the Combine Graduate Level (CGL) exam 2020-21 schedule to be conducted from August 13 to 24.
SSC stopped the activity of collecting the Bio-metric data of the candidates because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This activity will continue for all the exams, even after the CGL exam 2020-21. The Bio-metric registration was part of the SSC exam process, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was suspended. In the Bio-metric registration, the Left Thumb Impression (LTI) of the candidates is collected through a bio-metric machine at the venue of the exam. This bio-metric image is verified at the later stage of the exam.
