SSC Southern Region has published an important notice regarding the cancellation of document verification. The new schedule of document verification will be announced soon.

SSC Stenographer

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Southern Region, has published notification regarding cancellation of document verification. The official notice reads, “The tentative schedule for document verification of SSC Stenographer Grade C and D published on the website on August 7, 2020, has been withdrawn.”

“Revised schedule for SSC Stenographer 2018 document verification of the said examination will be uploaded shortly,” the notice reads further.

All the candidates qualified for Document Verification are required to appear for the same along with the photocopies and original documents. The examination authority will take the detailed option form from candidates either online or at the time of document verification.

The final selection and allocation of Ministries/ Departments will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in the Computer-Based Examination and the preference of Posts/ Departments entered by them at the time of Document Verification.

Candidates need to carry the following documents at the time of document verification:

  • Photo-identity proof
  • Matriculation/Secondary Certificate
  • Educational Qualification Certificate
  • Caste/Category Certificate
  • No objection certificate in case candidates are already employed in government/government undertakings

While preparing the final result, in case more than one candidate secures the equal aggregate marks, the tie is resolved in the following methods:

  • Marks in Part-I (i.e. General Intelligence & Reasoning)
  • Marks in Part-II (i.e. General Awareness)
  • Date of birth, with older the candidates placed higher
  • Alphabetical order in which names of the candidates appear
