TNUSRB SI Departmental Exam 2019 postponed, check new date here

Earlier, the TNUSRB SI Departmental Exam 2019 was scheduled to be conducted on January 11 which will now be held on January 13.

Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has announced that the exam date of the TNUSRB SI Departmental Exam 2019 has been postponed. The exam, which was earlier scheduled to be held on January 11, 2020, will now be conducted on January 13. The exam is organised for the recruitment of the Sub Inspector Departmental post. The reasons for the postponement of the exam has not been disclosed. Candidates are requested to check their E-Mail & SMS for further details.

TNUSRB SI Departmental Exam 2019: Pattern

According to the TNUSRB SI Exam Pattern, the written exam includes two stages.

Stage 1 – Written exam for open quota candidates

The total marks of the Stage 1 exam are 70. It is divided into two parts- Part A and Part B. In Part A consist of 80 questions and each question carries ½ mark. The total marks for part A is 40. Part B involves 60 questions of ½ mark each. Total marks for Part B is 30. Candidates have to solve the paper within 2 hrs and 30 minutes. The minimum qualifying marks are 25.

Stage 2 – Written examination for departmental quota candidates (20%)

This part is also divided into two parts- Part A and Part B. In Part A candidates are asked 30 questions of ½ mark each. Total marks for part A is 15. In Part B, 140 questions are asked to candidates and each question carries ½ mark. The total marks for Part B is 70. Candidates have to solve the paper within 3 hrs. The minimum qualifying marks is 30.
