TSPSC Paper Leak 2023: Osmania University holds stage protest, demands CBI probe

TSPSC Paper Leak 2023: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has cancelled three more exams including Group 1 Prelims Exam. On March 5, the Commission cancelled the Assistant Engineers (AE) after the allegation of the question paper leak. Following the exam cancellation, the Osmania University students staged a protest against the Telangana State Public Service Commission, TSPSC paper leak. Due to protests, heavy deployment of police force was there.

The protesting students are now demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe or a judicial enquiry into the matter. "We are protesting against the TSPSC paper leak issue. We demand a CBI enquiry or an enquiry by a sitting judge into the issue. We suspect that many higher officials are involved in this issue," Osmania University student leader said, as reported by Times Now.

Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has now asked the top officials of the state. The Commission has been asked to present the details of both of its employees who had appeared for the examination with or without the permission.

“The delegation led by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief Revanth Reddy and including Madhu Yashki, Hanumanth Rao and Mallu Ravi on Wednesday met with Governor at the Raj Bhavan here and submitted a memorandum urging action against the minister as well as TSPSC Chairman Janardhan Reddy and IAS officer Anita Ramachandran,” as reported by TOI.
