UGC NET result 2021-22 will be announced soon by the NTA. The UGC NET cut off 2021 will be released along with the result.
National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to announce the UGC NET result 2021 soon for the merged December 2020 and June 2021 cycles. The result of the UGC NET 2021 exam will be announced along with the cut off marks. The UGC NET cut off 2021 will be released post-wise, subject-wise and category-wise.
It may be noted here that the NTA adopts the ‘Normalization procedure based on Percentile Score’ to declare the UGC NET result to ensure fairness by tackling the variations in the difficulty level of all the sets of question papers.
The UGC NET 2021 exam was conducted in various shifts from November 20, 2021, to January 5, 2022. The exam was held in three phases – Phase I, Phase II and Phase III.
The provisional UGC NET answer key 2021 was released by the NTA on January 21, 2022. The objections were invited against the provisional answer key from January 21 to 24, 2022.
UGC NET cut off 2021
The UGC NET cut off 2021 will be released separately for candidates for the ‘Assistant Professor Only’ and ‘Assistant Professor & Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)’ posts. The UGC NET cut off list is released as a PDF file containing the total number of qualified candidates who appeared for each subject. Candidates who are able to obtain the cut off marks qualify the UGC NET exam. The cut off is decided based on the following parameters:
- Number of registered candidates
- Number of test-takers
- Difficulty level of exam
The cut off marks are released separately for all the 81 subjects.
