UGC NET 2021 Exam Postponed in Odisha, Andhra Pradesh amid Cyclone Jawad warning
UGC NET 2021 exam scheduled on December 5 has been postponed in a few cities of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh amid the warning of Cyclone Jawad.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the UGC NET 2021 exam scheduled to be held on December 5 due to the red alert issued for Cyclone Jawad landfall on December 4 in the states of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. The exam has been rescheduled only in Bhubaneshwar, Gunupur, Cuttack, Berhampur (Ganjam) Puri and Visakhapatnam cities. The exam will be held as per schedule in all other cities of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh and all other states.
The revised date sheet of the rescheduled exam will be released later. The NTA will also soon release the UGC NET dates and schedule for 07 Subject Code (Bengali, Kannada, Home Science, Hindi, Geography, Sociology and Sanskrit). The exam for this subject will be held during December 15 - 23, 2021.
The UGC NET exam for the merged December 2020 and June 2021 cycles was earlier held on November 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 29 and 30 and December 1, 3 and 4.
