UGC NET 2021 question paper was leaked for Hindi subject, according to the AISA. The association demanded a probe into the paper leak and reconduct of the exam.

All India Students Association (AISA) has alleged that the UGC NET 2021 question paper was leaked for Hindi subject in Kurukshetra, Haryana. The UGC NET exam for the Hindi paper took place on December 26, 2021, for the merged December 2020 and June 2021 cycles in various exam centres across the country.

In a letter addressed to the Additional Secretary of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the AISA demanded an independent inquiry into the paper leak and also asked for the conduct of the Hindi exam once again.

The association also stated that the UGC should back the responsibility of conducting the National Eligibility Test (NET) exam from the NTA. The AISA staged the protests against the paper leak outside the UGC headquarters.

However, there is no official update in this regard from UGC and NTA.

The UGC NET 2021 exam is underway and will be held on January 4, 2022, for Phase I rescheduled papers including Social Work, Labour Welfare, Odia and Telugu. The UGC NET Phase II remaining papers will be held on January 4 and 5, 2022. The exam began on November 20. The NTA is organising the exam across 469 exam centres in 213 cities.
