As per the students' review, more weightage is from Research (3 or 4 questions), NoIR, SDG, Micro computer and Mini computer (sequence question), Kwyboard (special/Function), DI was lengthy that is more calculative, etc.

As per some students paper 1 of UGC NET 2025 exam was a bit lengthy. Overall Difficulty level was Moderate.

It is crucial for a candidate to prioritise high-weightage subjects, practice via mock test, solve previous year papers, manage time while writing the exam.

When appearing for exam, candidates must also carry these documents 

• Printed UGC NET Admit Card
• Any one valid Government Photo ID: Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID or Driving Licence
• Passport-size Photographs
• PwD/Disability Certificate, if applicable 

In the UGC NET 2025 exam, total of 150 questions were asked combining both paper 1 and 2. UGC NET 2025 exam does not have a negative marking. Candidates are awarded for correct answers but no marks are deducted for incorrect answer.

• They must reach at UGC NET exam centre before reporting time mentioned on admit card.
• UGC NET admit card will not be accepted in digital photos/screenshots. 
• Along with admit card, a valid government-issued photo ID must be carried to exam centre. 
• They must follow all guidelines given by invigilator. 
• Rough sheets or virtual pads given to them must be submitted before exit.
