UGC NET 2026 Re-Exam Result 2026: National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared UGC NET June 2026 re-exam result for English, Commerce and Sociology. The examination for these three subjects was conducted on September 9 and 10, 2026, following earlier NTA notice regarding re-conduct of papers.

Candidates who appeared for re-exam can check their UGC NET re-exam result, cutoff marks and final answer key online at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. NTA website currently lists UGC NET re-exam scorecard, final answer key and result notice for the three-subject re-examination.

UGC NET June 2026 Exam: Candidates Registered and Appeared

As per NTA result data, a total of 1,96,491 candidates registered for exam across English, Commerce and Sociology. Of these, 1,20,355 candidates appeared for re-examination. UGC NET gender-wise registration details are as follows

UGC NET re-exam result data shows that candidates have been declared eligible under different UGC NET qualification categories. A total of 824 candidates qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), while 11,610 candidates qualified for Assistant Professor. As many as 23,154 candidates qualified for PhD only.
