UGC NET December Application Process 2025 Ongoing; Apply by Nov 7 @ugcnet.nta.nic.in
UGC NET registration link 2025 is activated at ugcnet.nta.nic.in for eligible candidates till November 7, 2025. The application correction process will begin from November 10 and the exam will be conducted from December 31 to January 7, 2026.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting applications for UGC NET December 2025 session exam. Interested and eligible students can apply for University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) exam till November 7, 2025. However, students are suggested not to wait for the registration last date and submit their application form at the earliest to avoid last minute hustle. Students have to complete the registrations and pay the online application fees before November 7. The UGC NET application form is available at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. How to Fill UGC NET Application Form 2025?
Students have to follow the below mentioned steps for UGC NET 2025 Dec session application form:
- Visit the official website of UGC NET, i.e. ugcnet.nta.nic.in
- Click on the UGC NET December 2025 application link from the homepage.
- Complete the initial registration to get login credentials
- Login and fill the application form using academic and personal details.
- Upload documents and pay the application fee.
- Submit the form and save it for future reference.
The UGC NET application fee varies category-wise. General/ EWS/ OBC NCL category students have to pay INR 600, while SC/ ST/ PwD and Third Gender students have to pay INR 325 as application fees.

- Visit the website- ugcnet.nta.nic.in
- Click on the 'Application form' link mentioned at the bottom of the home page
- Click on the 'New Registration'
- Enter the required details and complete the registration
- Fill out the complete application form
- Upload scanned pictures of passport size photo (10-200 kb) and signature (10-50 kb). Both images should be in JPEG format
- Pay the UGC NET application fee (Gen - INR 1150; OBC/EWS - INR 600; SC/ST/PwD/ Transgender - INR 325)
- Save and submit the form
- Download the confirmation page
Candidates can apply for the UGC NET 2025 December session through online mode. The application form in any other mode will not be accepted. Also, it is important for the candidates to read the instructions, including how to fill out the application form online, provided in the Information Bulletin that will be available on the NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be disqualified.

The NTA released the UGC NET 2025 Dec session application form along with the notification 2025 on October 7, 2025. The last date to apply is November 7. It is advised to the candidates to fill out the correct details with utmost care in the application form. Any request for change in the particulars after the closure of the correction period will not be considered by NTA under any circumstances.
