UGC NET June 2026: Only Fee-Paid Applications Will Be Accepted, Says NTA

UGC NET June 2026: National Testing Agency has issued an advisory for candidates appearing in June exam. As per advisory, NTA has asked candidates to complete UGC NET application process before registration deadline. As per dates announced, UGC NET June 2026 application portal will close on May 20 at 11:50 PM. In its latest notice, NTA advised all candidates who have not yet completed their registration to submit application form, pay UGC NET 2026 examination fee and download confirmation page.

Candidates can apply online for UGC NET June session by visiting official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Those belonging to general category need to pay INR 1,150. Whereas OBC and SC/ ST/ PwD have to pay INR 600 and INR 325 as UGC NET 2025 application fees.

NTA further stated that candidates should verify all details entered in UGC NET application form before making fee payment, as no corrections will be allowed later. Applicants have been asked to pay special attention to details such as their 

• Name

• Parents’ names

• Social category

• PwD status

• Difficulty in writing status

• Sribe requirement status

• Subject opted for

• Preferred exam city choices

NTA reiterated that only those candidates who successfully pay UGC NET application fee will be considered to have completed registration process.
