UGC NET June 2026 Registration Closes on May 20; NTA Issues Advisory to Candidates

UGC NET Application Form 2026 Advisory

UGC NET Registration: National Testing Agency has issued advisory regarding completion of UGC NET application process for June 2026 exam. NTA informed candidates that UGC NET registration portal will close on May 20, 2026 at 11:50 PM. Candidates who have not yet completed their UGC NET June 2026 registration have been advised to fill out form, pay exam fee and download confirmation page on time. 

NTA clarified that only those candidates who successfully complete fee payment process will be considered to have successfully submitted their UGC NET applications. NTA has also asked applicants to verify all details in application form before making payment, as no corrections will be allowed later. 

How to fill UGC NET Application Form 2026 for June Session?

Candidates must be careful when entering information such as their name, parents’ names, social category, PwD status, difficulty in writing status, scribe requirement status, subject selected and preferred exam city choices. Check steps to apply

• Go to official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in

• Click on UGC NET June Application Form link

• Select New Registration and enter asked details

• Log in and fill out UGC NET application form 

• Upload scanned images and pay application fee 

• Save and submit online form

NTA further urged candidates to ensure that all information provided in UGC NET application form is correct and complete before final submission.
