Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), Lucknow has declared the final result of UP Police constable Recruitment exam 2019 on its official website. Those candidates who appeared for the examination can check their result from the official website of UP Police Recruitment – uppbpb.gov.in. The result is available to download in the PDF format. There is no need to login for candidates who want to check their results.

UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2019: How to check the merit list?

Those candidates who appeared for the UP Police constable recruitment exam 2019, can visit the official website uppbpb.gov.in to check their name in the merit list. Read below the steps mentioned to see your name in the merit list.

  • Go to the official website - uppbpb.gov.in
  • On the homepage itself, you will see category wise merit list
  • Click on the category which you belong to
  • You will see a PDF file of the list
  • The name of candidates are mentioned in the ascending order of roll number

The UPPRPB had asked for applications in October 2018 for overall 49568 posts – Civil Police (31360) and Provincial Armed Constabulary (18208). Approximately 19, 38, 363 candidates had applied for these posts. The written examinations for these posts were held on January 27 and 28, 2019. The successful candidates were asked for document verification and physical examination from November 28, 2019 to January 28, 2020. After clearing the document verification and physical examination round, they appeared for the Physical Endurance Test (PET) conducted from December 28, 2019 to January 29, 2020.

Approximately 1.23 lakh candidates passed the written exam and were asked for the inspection of their academic records and physical standard test. Out of this, 49568 candidates passed the final round of physical test and document verification.
