UP Police Recruitment 2021: Application for 1277 Clerk, PSI Confidential and ASI Accounts posts to start from May 1

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released notification for the recruitment of 1277 Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (Clerk) and Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (Accounts). Online application to start from May 1 on uppbpb.gov.in; the last date of application is May 31, 2021.

Out of 1277 vacancies, 624 posts are for UP Police Clerk, 358 for UP Police Accounts and 295 for Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential).
UP Police ASI Eligibility
Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for the posts. Also, candidates’ age must be between 21 and 28 years. Besides, candidates must meet physical criteria as prescribed in the official notification.
UP Police ASI Selection Process
The recruitment will be held in several phases, i.e. online written exam, Document Verification & PST, Computer Typing and Stenography Test, Final Merit List, Medical Test and Personality Test. The online test will be of 400 marks, out of which 100 marks are allotted for each section. The sections are respectively, General Hindi/ Computer Knowledge, GK/Current Affairs, Numerical and Mental Ability, Mental Aptitude Test. Candidates have to secure at least 35% in each section and 40% in aggregate to qualify for the exam.
Candidates have to pay Rs. 400 for online application. The application fee is the same for all categories.
