UPPCL JE 2019-20 Document Verification postponed; Check details here

The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) has postponed the document verification process for the post code 03/VSA/2019 due to COVID-19 pandemic. The document verification for this post code will be conducted on July 4 and 5, 2020. Initially, the document verification was scheduled to be held on April 15, 16 & 17. However, it was postponed to May 20, 21 & 22. Again, this has been extended due to emergent situation and nation-wide lockdown.

Candidates who will clear the document verification process will be asked to join as Junior Engineer (Trainee) on July 6, 2020.

UPPCL had invited applications for the post of Junior Engineer (JE) - Civil Trainee. A total of 31 vacancies were announced for the recruitment exam. Online applications for the exam was available from December 5 to 26, 2019. UPPCL JE exam for Civil was conducted on February 25.

UPPCL JE Electrical recruitment had been invited to fill up a total of 296 vacancies. UPPCL JE exam for Electrical post was conducted from November 25 to 27, 2019.

The selection process includes CBT. Candidates qualifying the CBT are called for document verification. Two times the number of vacancies are called for the document verification. The selected candidates have to undergo a training programme for a period decided by UPPCL.
