UPPSC PCS Main 2023 Postponed. See New Dates

UPPSC PCS main exam 2023 has been postponed. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission released a notice on July 20 mentioning the new exam dates. The Commission mentioned in the official notice that the Union Public Service Commission will conduct the Civil Service (Main) exam 2023 from September 15 to 24. In view of the clash in the exam dates, the Commission postponed the UPPSC main exam by over ten days. 

The Commission will now conduct the UPPSC main exam 2023 from September 26 to 29 at three exam centres of the State. The UPPSC Main exam will be conducted simultaneously in Prayagraj, Lucknow and Ghaziabad. The Commission will release the UPPSC 2023 main exam schedule in September.

The Commission is expected to release the UPPSC 2023 admit card for the main exam on September 16 (ten days before the exam date). The UPPCS admit card will be available till the last date of the exam which is September 29. 

The Commission will conduct the UPPSC PCS 2023 main exam as per the new exam syllabus and pattern. The UPPSC PCS main exam will be a descriptive type exam where the Candidates will be required to write conventional essay-type answers. The Commission conducted the UPPSC Prelims exam on May 14 and its result was released on June 27.
