UPSC has activated the link to withdraw CDS 1 application form 2021. Candidates who do not wish to appear in the exam can withdraw their application forms till November 30, 2020.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has activated the link to withdraw CDS 1 application form 2021. Candidates who do not wish to appear in the exam can withdraw their application forms till November 30, 2020. The link to withdraw the application form is available on the official website. To login, candidates need to enter the registration number. The application form once withdrawn cannot be retrieved in the future. The application fees of candidates will not be refunded to candidates.

How to withdraw CDS Application Form 2021?

The steps to withdraw CDS application form are given below.

  • Visit the official website
  • Click the application form withdrawal link
  • Enter registration number to login
  • Before making requests for withdrawal, candidates must ensure that they have access to the mobile number and email ID which were provided by them at the time of filling the application form
  • Separate OTPs will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID
  • Requests for withdrawal will only be processed after validating the OTPs
  • Once the request for online withdrawal of the application is accepted, candidates must print the authenticated receipt
  • On successful completion of the withdrawal of the application, an auto-generated email and SMS will be sent on the candidate’s registered email id and mobile number

Earlier, UPSC had released the names of candidates whose application forms of CDS were rejected due to the non-payment of fees. CDS 2021 application form process closed on November 18. The pay by cash mode of fee payment was deactivated at 11.59 pm on November 16, 2020. The application form was released on October 28, 2021. The application fees could be paid both online and offline. The application fees were Rs 200 for General and OBC male candidates while Female, SC, ST candidates were exempted from fee payment.
