UPSC CDS 1 Result 2022 Live Update: Check Paper 1 Cut Off and Merit List @upsc.gov.in

Candidates who qualify in the written exam and given their first choice as Army (IMA/OTA) are required to register themselves on the recruiting directorate website-www.joinindianarmy.nic.in inorder to enable them to receive call up information for SSB interview. Those candidates who have  already registered on the recruiting directorate website are advised not to register again.

In case a candidate does not get the interview call for SSB interview for IMA by fourth week of August, 2022 and by fourth week of November, 2022 for OTA, they
should write to IHQ of MoD(Army)/Rtg. CDSE Entry/SSC Women Entry for Officers Training Academy, West Block-III, Ramakrishna Puram, New Delhi110066 regarding non-receipt of the call-up letter.

The Commission will publically disclose the scores of the candidates (obtained in the Written Examination and SSB Interview/Personality Test) through the public portals. The disclosure will be made in respect of only those candidates who will appear in the SSB Interview for the Combined Defence Services Examination and are not qualified. The information shared through this disclosure scheme about the unsuccessful candidates may be used by other public and private recruitment agencies to appoint suitable candidates from the information made available in the public portal. Candidates, who will appear for SSB, will be required to give their options when asked by the Commission. Candidates may opt out of the scheme also and in that case his/her details will not be published by the Commission.

CDS 1 2022 result is expected to be announced anytime soon. The result will be announced on the official website-upsc.gov.in. However, the direct result link will be provided on this page. The result will display the roll numbers of qualified candidates.

SSB Interview call letter will be released for candidates who will qualify the written exam. Candidates need to register on the recruiting website for generating the call up letter.

CDS 1 2022 exam was conducted for admission to the Indian Miltary Academy, Dehradun, Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala courses commencing in January 2023. The courses at Officers' Training Academy (OTA) will commence in April 2023. 

CDS 1 2022 expected cutoff for IMA, INA, AFA and OTA is given below.

The SSB Interview for IMA, INA, AFA is for 300 marks each while for OTA, it is 200. The SSB Interview procedure consists of two stages: I and II. Stage I comprises Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests and Picture Perception Description Test (PP&DT). Stage II comprises Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and Conference. These tests are conducted for over days

A total of 341 vacancies have been announced for CDS 1 2022 exam. Candidates selected through the written exam and SSB interview will undergo training at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Indian Military Academy (IMA), Air Force Academy (AFA) and Officers Training Academy (OTA).

The overall difficulty level of the GK and English papers was moderate. The English paper was difficult while the GK was easy. Questions in Current Affairs were asked from Pinaka Missle. The Mathematics paper was easy. The paper was calculative and lengthy. Maximum questions were asked from Trigonometry, Geometry, and Mensuration. 

The scorecard includes the candidate’s roll number, date of birth, name, total marks obtained in the written exam and SSB Interview, and final total marks.

CDS 1 2022 result will be available online by UPSC. The direct result link will be provided on this page. The result PDF will comprise the roll numbers of qualified candidates. Those who will qualify the written exam will be called for SSB interview.

CDS 1 2022 marksheet will be released after the declaration of the final result. The marks will remain on the official website within 15 days from the date of declaration of the result.
