UPSC IAS 2022 applications are closing tomorrow. The candidates need to apply online as soon as possible to avoid last-minute server issues. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) issued a notice on February 17 adding 150 vacancies of Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) in the Civil Service (IAS) 2022 exam. The total number of vacancies is now 1011 in the UPSC IAS 2022 exam. This number is the highest in the last five years. The candidates should not miss this golden chance and apply for the Civil Service exam as soon as possible.

How to apply for UPSC IAS exam 2022?

UPSC application for the Civil Service Exam 2022 has two parts. The first part is of registration of personal details and the second part is concerned with the candidates who can apply for the UPSC IAS 2022 exam in the manner given below.

UPSC IAS 2022 Application Part –I - Registration

The candidates need to fill in the personal details in this part that includes

Adhaar Number or any other government ID number

  • Name
  • Fathers Name
  • Mother’s Name
  • Marital status
  • Adhaar Number or any other government ID number
  • Address
  • Date of birth
  • Category            
  • Gender
  • Email ID              
  • Contact number
  • Permanent address       
  • Educational qualification

The candidate can also provide government id proofs other than Adhaar number. The candidates can provide PAN Number, Passport Number, Driving Licence Number and the like. The candidates should cross-check the number of the id proof because this number will be printed on the UPSC admit card and the candidates need to carry the original and one copy of this id proof to the exam centre. Even in the main exam also, the id number will be printed on the admit card.

UPSC IAS 2022 Application Part –II

In the second part, the candidates need to submit the application fees, upload the scanned image of the photograph and signature. The candidates can submit the application fee online as well as online.

UPSC IAS 2022 applications will be closed tomorrow and after it, UPSC will provide the facility to withdraw the application for IAS 2022 exam.
