UPSC CMS 2021 exam notification releasing tomorrow. Read further to know the UPSC CMS 2021 selection procedure in detail. 

UPSC CMS 2021 notification will be released tomorrow. The Union Public Service Commission released the new exam calendar, mentioning the new notification and exam dates of various exams. As per the new exam calendar, the Combined Medical Service (CMS) 2021 exam will be notified on July 7. The UPSC will provide a 20 days window period to fill the UPSC CMS 2021 Applications.

UPSC CMS exam is a two-stage recruitment exam where the candidates need to appear in the phase I exam conducted online in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The UPSC release the CMS question paper of the exam, next day after the exam. The candidates can check the previous year papers to prepare in a better way.

There are around 500 vacancies notified every year under the UPSC CMS notification. The candidates are recruited mainly for the following posts.

   Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services

Category II

• Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways
• Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services   
• General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council
• General Duty Medical Grade-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation.

The UPSC conducts the CMS exam every year to recruit candidates for the above-mentioned posts. The eligibility criteria for the UPSC CMS exam is an MBBS degree. The candidates waiting for their results can also apply for the CMS exam.
