UPSC IAS 2022 Exam Centre Change Facility

UPSC IAS 2022 exam centre change facility (Phase-II) opened today. The candidates can exercise their choice by opting for the newly added exam centre for the UPSC IAS 2022 Prelims exam. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) had added two new exam centres for the Civil Service (IAS) prelims exam. These two new exam centre was Mandi and Dharamshala.

UPSC provided the opportunity for the candidates to re-opt the IAS prelims exam centre. UPSC opened this facility for the candidates in two phases. The first phase was opened from March 3 to 7. The second phase to re-select the exam centre for the IAS prelims 2022 exam was activated today. The IAS exam centres will be allotted on a first-apply-first-allot basis.

How to change the UPSC IAS 2022 exam centre?

The candidates can change their IAS prelims exam centre in the manner given below:

  • Go to the website of UPSC โ€“ https://upsconline.nic.in/index.php
  • Click on the online request for change in the exam centre
  • A new window will appear, providing the link for changing the exam centre
  • The instructions page will appear, read the instructions and press โ€˜yesโ€™
  • A new window asking the โ€˜registration numberโ€™ of the candidate
  • Enter the registration number and captcha code visible on the screen
  • UPSC application form will open, change the exam centre
  • Click on submit button.

The facility to change the exam centre will remain active till March 14. Candidates should change their exam centre as soon as possible to get the examination centre of their choice.
