The previous year’s data showed that UPSC postponed almost all the written exams and interviews because of the COVID-19 cases, but the number of candidates who appeared in the rescheduled exam was not much reduced as compared to the previous year’s number. Though the UPSC did not provide any reason for postponing the interviews but it is evident that the decision was taken because of the COVID-19 cases.

The UPSC also postponed the UPSC EPFO recruitment 2021 test that was scheduled to be conducted on May 9. The UPSC is taking proactive measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The Delhi government has announced the lockdown in Delhi and the Union Ministry has issued various guidelines related to the pandemic. It will reduce the number of employees in the apex recruitment agency and will have a profound effect on the recruitment process of all exams. The first can be the UPSC Interviews 2020.

The IAS interviews 2020 is scheduled to be conducted from April to June. In the wake of rising COVID-19 cases, the UPSC had already provided an extra attempt to the candidates in 2021. The IAS 2021 exam was notified on March 4 and the IAS exam 2021 will be conducted on June 27.
