UPSC IFoS 2020 DAF-II released. The last date to fill DAF-II online is July 7, 2021. Read further for details.

The UPSC has released the Detailed Application Form (DAF-II) for the Indian Forest Service (IFoS) Exam 2020. The IFoS DAF-II was released on June 23. The candidates need to fill the IFoS DAF-II online by July 7, 2021.

The candidates who passed the IFoS main exam 2020 need to register again to fill the DAF-II online. The DAF-II will be available online only.

How to fill the IFoS DAF-II?

The candidates need to fill the DAF-II for the interview purpose and they need to fill in all the details about their academic and professional qualifications. The details mentioned in the DAF provide the opportunity to project the personality of the candidate.

  • Go to the Official UPSC website: upsc.gov.in
  • Click on the DAF-II link given under the What’s New section
  • On clicking above, the candidates will be directed to the new window asking for the details of the IFoS exam
  • The candidates need to register again to fill the IFoS DAF-II
  • The candidates should register again through the link given above the login credentials.
  • After registering with the required details, the new login credentials will be generated
  • With these new registration credentials, the candidates could fill the IFoS DAF-II

Importance of DAF

The UPSC interview board members ask questions about the academic background of the candidates, the latest development in the subjects of their academics and their professional studies. The candidates should mention all the details and prepare their points to justify any point in their DAF. For example, if a candidate has done an MBA in a particular stream, he should justify the question that why he had done MBA in that stream.

How to prepare for UPSC Interview?

The candidate should prepare all the details about their place of origin. Sometimes, the board members ask questions from the birthplace of the candidate. Besides, the candidates should also prepare the background of the school, college, university and the likes.
