Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) notification for Indian Forest Services (IFoS) is out. Candidates can apply for the Indian Forest Service exam 2020. Candidates can apply for IFoS 2020 till March 3, 2020 (6 pm). It is to be noted that once the online application is submitted, modifications are not permitted. If you wish to get any modifications done, you may submit a fresh application with required modification by the last date for receipt of the application. All previous submitted applications will get annulled once your registration id for latest completely submitted application is considered for processing. For future requirements, your email id and mobile number should be retained.

Indian Forest Service exam 2020: How to apply for Indian Forest Service?

The filling of UPSC IFoS online application contains two parts:

  • In Part I registration, the candidate will have to fill basic information. On filling of details, the candidate will be asked to verify the details and make rectification, if any, in the application
  • Part-II registration comprises various steps such as entering payment details (not applicable for fee exempted candidates), signature, photo identity card document, selection of examination centre, uploading of photograph, and declaration

A scanned photograph should be in JPG format. The digital size of the file should not be more than 300 KB each and less than 20 KB and resolution of minimum 350 pixels (Width) X 350 pixels (Height), maximum 1000 pixels (Width) X 1000 pixels (Height) and Bit Depth of image file should be 24 bit. Upload your scanned signature in JPG format once you are done with uploading your photograph. After this, your photo identity card document should be uploaded in PDF format.

Payment mode

Candidates can pay the application fees online, by means of Debit Card/ Credit Card/Net banking facility of any Banks or by cash challan in SBI bank. Those candidates willing to pay fee in cash, are meant to take printout of challan produced online after completion of registration. The candidate may visit any SBI branch for depositing fee after 24 hours of generation of challan. One day prior to the closing date, which is March 3, 2020, pay by cash mode will be stopped at 11: 59 pm. Candidates wishing to pay online by means of the SBI portal can do so directly during filling of online form.

An auto-generated email will be sent on your registered email id after the successful completion of your application.
