The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today announced the UPSC Civil Services exam 2022, As many as 685 candidates have been selected against 785 vacancies. Candidates can check their respective results from the official website — upsc.gov.in.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today congratulated all the candidates who have successfully cleared the UPSC Civil Services 2021 exam. He also asked students who could not clear the exam to not feel disheartened and bring their best in the exam next year. 

Education Minister wrote on his Twitter, "Heartiest congratulations to all those who have cleared the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2021. I wish all the successful candidates an enriching career and immensely successful administrative journey. May they serve society with vigour and take India to new heights."

In another tweet he wrote, "My best wishes are also with those who couldn’t qualify. Turnarounds are always there. With their talent, tenacity and determination, these youngsters will also shape their destiny and do their family, society and country proud."

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today announced the UPSC Civil Services exam 2022, As many as 685 candidates have been selected against 785 vacancies. Candidates can check their respective results from the official website — upsc.gov.in.

Shruti Sharma, an alumnus of St Stephens College and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has secured Rank 1. While The second rank was achieved by Ankita Agarwal and Gamini Singhla has secured the third rank in the UPSC Civil Services 2021 exam. This year, the top three positions have been bagged by the female candidate. 308 selected candidates belong to General Category, 73 candidates have been selected under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category and 203 OBC, 105 SC and 60 ST category candidates.

UPSC had released the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2021 result on March 17. Those who cleared it were called for the interview round (personality test). The personality test was held from April 5 to May 26, 2022.
