UPTET 2019 question paper leaked; check details

Seven people have been arrested for leaking the UPTET question paper 2019 in Prayagraj. Also, many cases of cheating in UPTET 2019 have been reported. Check details below.
UPTET 2019 was conducted on January 8, 2020 in two shifts. A Special Task Force (STF) was assigned to monitor the exam at different UPTET test centres. The force arrested seven members of a gang yesterday who leaked the UPTET question paper in Prayagraj. Among those arrested include the college principal, a broker, a solver, mobile and SIM card dealers.
According to media reports, the accused got the mobile phones, pre-activated the SIM cards and used Bluetooth devices to get the UPTET papers out. The force has seized all the phones and Bluetooth devices from those arressted. The force has also seized motor vehicles and cash worth Rs 4,11,000 from the accused.
Apart from the paper leak at Prayagraj, several other incidents of cheating have been reported at test centres located in different districts. Also, many candidates missed their exam as they failed to reach the exam centre on time due to heavy rain, bharat bandh and wrong test centre on the UPTET admit card.

The unofficial UPTET 2019 answer key was released soon after the exam was over. The official UPTET preliminary answer key 2019 will be released on the official website of the exam on January 14. Candidates will be able to challenge the provisional answer key by January 17.
