UPTET 2021-22 Not Postponed: Exam on January 23; COVID positive candidates can appear
UPTET 2021-22 exam has not been postponed. The exam will be held as scheduled on January 23, 2022. COVID-19 positive candidates can appear for the UPTET exam.
The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2021 exam will be conducted on January 23, 2022, in 75 exam centre districts across the state. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the concerned authorities to ensure the implementation of COVID-19 protocols at all the UPTET exam centres for smooth conduct of the examination.
Moreover, CM Yogi has also stated that the necessary security-related arrangements should be made at the UPTET centres. Incidents like paper leak will not be acceptable at all. If any such unwanted incidence occurs, the concerned DM, BSA and exam centre-in-charge will be held accountable.
UPTET exam centre to have COVID care facility
As per the tweet of the CM Office, Uttar Pradesh on its official Twitter handle, each exam centre will have a COVID care facility. If a COVID positive candidate is willing to give the UPTET 2021-22 examination, he or she can appear. A separate room will be arranged at the examination hall for COVID positive candidates.
The UPTET exam will be held as scheduled in two shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The UPTET Paper 1 will be held from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm and Paper 2 will be from 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm.
