WB TET result 2021 to be declared before Durga Puja this year, as per WBBPE president Manik Bhattacharya.

West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) president Manik Bhattacharya has announced that the WB TET result 2021 will release before Durga Puja in October. The West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test (WB TET) 2017 edition of the exam was held on January 31, 2021.

As per the reports, around 2.5 lakh candidates appeared for the WB TET exam to gain eligibility as primary teacher for appointment in the state schools.

As per the directives of CM Mamata Banerjee, there will be total transparency in the evaluation process, preparation of the merit list. The answers to the WB TET question paper will be published online before the declaration of results.

Candidates who will qualify the WB TET exam will get awarded with the eligibility certificate. The WB TET certificate is now valid for life, as the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has officially extended the certificate validity to lifetime. As of now, there is no official update from the WBBPE in this regard.
