West Bengal Govt to fill over 16000 teacher recruitment vacancies 2020 of WB TET qualified teachers

Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister, West Bengal has recently announced that the state government will soon commence the West Bengal teacher recruitment 2020 process to fill about 16,500 vacancies. The West Bengal teacher recruitment vacancies will be filled through 20,000 candidates who had passed the WB TET exam. This means that all WB TET qualified candidates who have the valid WB TET eligibility certificate will be given the opportunity to appear in the state’s teacher recruitment process soon.
As per the West Bengal Chief Minister, the next WB TET exam will also be conducted soon. The exam will be conducted in offline mode for about 2.5 lakh candidates who had applied in 2018. It may be noted that the last WB TET exam was conducted in 2017.
As per media reports, West Bengal’s State Education Department has also been directed to start making arrangements to conduct the next WB Teacher Eligibility Test (WB TET).
