Rajasthan schools and colleges are set to reopen for physical classes across the state soon. Both government, as well as private educational institutions, will reopen for physical classes in the state from November 15, 2021. The educational institutions are set to resume classes with 100 per cent capacity. The government has decided to go ahead with the decision to resume physical classes considering the improving COVID-19 scenario across the country and the state.

As per the report, the death ratio due to COVID-19 in the state is 0.94 per cent. Also, there has also been a dip in the active cases of COVID-19. The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in the state is 42 cases.

On November 8, 2021, the government had issued new guidelines with regards to the COVID-19 situation in the state. It is a continuation of the previous guidelines that were issued by the state on August 12 and September 17, 2021.

As per the earlier guidelines issued by the state, it was mandatory for the students to get consent of parents to attend schools. The guidelines have been issued by Home Department Principal Secretary Abhay Kumar. Educational Institutions would reopen with proper COVID-19 guidelines such as wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, and others. 

As per the tweet, "Home Department principal secretary Abhay Kumar issued orders that Classes from 1st to 12th in all the government and private schools, as well as the private and government universities, can be started from November 15 with 100 per cent capacity. In all coaching institutes, both educational and non-educational staff will also be able to come in full capacity and students will be able to study in 100 per cent capacity."

 

Along with relations for reopening educations institutions, the government has also lifted restrictions with regards to the number of people attending marriages. Further, cultural, religious, sports, entertainment, and other guidelines would be allowed in public places. While relaxations have been made, vaccination drives, public testings, ventilation of close spaces, and other safety protocols to prevent the outbreak of COVID-19 would continue in the state.
