Banaras Hindu University spot round registration 2024 will be conducted between September 9 to 11, 2024, and the seat allocation result will be announced on September 12, 2024.

BHU UG Admission 2024

The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has announced the spot round counselling dates for undergraduate programme admission through CUET UG. Students who are willing for BHU admission 2024 can appear for the spot round counselling process. The BHU UG spot round admission dates 2024 are now available at bhu.ac.in. The authorities will accept the applications in online mode only as per the counselling dates. 

As per the schedule, the authorities will begin the Banaras Hindu University spot round registration on September 9, 2024. Students will be able to apply for spot-round admission before September 11, 2024. However, it is suggested that students fill the admission form at the earliest and not wait for the BHU UG spot round registration last date 2024.

What After BHU UG Spot Round Registration 2024?

Students who register for the spot round before the last date and fulfil the admission criteria will be able to check their seat allotment results online. Further, students who will be allotted seats will have to complete the admission process by paying the admission fees between September 12 to 14, 2024. Besides, students who have been admitted in regular rounds of counselling have to physically report at the campus between September 13 to 14, 2024 to complete the admission formalities. 

Q:   Can I get admission at BHU without an entrance exam?

A:

BHU admission to most of the courses is entrance-based, hence it is compulsory to appear for the CUET-UG/ CUET-PG entrance exams to get admission to BHU undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The university also accepts other entrance exam such as NEET, GATE, CAT, etc. for admission to specific courses. Hence, aspirants need to appear for the accepted entrance-exam and also meet the course-specific eligibility for admission at BHU.

Q:   Who is eligible to apply for MBBS in BHU?

A:

The eligibility criteria define the minimum requirements that MBBS course aspirants need to fulfil to get admission. Thus, to be eligible, an aspirant must be a Class 12 or equivalent pass with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry. Biology) and English from a recognised Board/University. Additionally, the candidate should have passed the exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate (PCBE) for the General Category, 40% for OBC (non-creamy layer)/SC/ST and 45% for PC in General Category).

Q:   How much marks are required to qualify for admission to BHU BSc course?

A:

For admission to BHU BSc, candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirement. It is also crucial that the students hold the relevant documents. The course-wise eligibility criteria is further mentioned in the table given below:

-Age: Not to be more than 22 years on 1st July 2023 (applicant should be born on or after 2nd July of 2001)

BSc (Hons) Biology

Passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with a minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry plus any one of the following: Biology, Geology and Geography

-Age: Not to be more than 22 years on 1st July 2023 (applicant should be born on or after 2nd July of 2001)

BSc (Hons) Agriculture/ BSc (Hons) Ag. at RGSC campus (Under Special Course of Study)

Class 12 in Agriculture or in Science (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology) or any equivalent examination recognised by the University, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate

-Age: Not to be less than 16 years and not more than 25 years as of 1st July 2023 (applicant should be born on or after 2nd July 1998 and on or before 2nd July 2007)
