University of Allahabad (UoA) has announced the CRET 2024 exam date at the official website allduniv.ac.in. The authorities will conduct the Allahabad University PhD entrance test on September 22, 2024. The research test will be held at 16 centres in Prayagraj for 43 subjects for 1219 seats, among which 770 seats at different departments/centres of the University and 449 seats in constituent colleges of the University of Allahabad.
Allahabad University CRET Exam PatternΒ
The CRET 2024 exam (level 1) will consist of two papers whereas paper 1 will have 50 MCQs of 2 marks each. Out of the 50 questions, 25 questions will be from research methodology on the other hand 25 questions will be subject-specific. Besides, there will be no negative marks in the CRET 2024 examination. The CRET 2024 paper 2 will be a subjective paper with small, medium and long answer-type questions. It must be noted that the teacher candidate of the University of Allahabad is exempted from appearing in the level 1 exam. However, they have to appear in CRET 2024 level 2 exam.Β
Admit Card to Be Released a Week Before ExamΒ
The CRET 2024 admit card will be issued a week before the examination date. However, the authorities have not announced the exact Allahabad University PhD entrance admit card release date. The hall ticket download link, however, will be activated at aupravesh2024.cbtexam.in or allduniv.ac.in.

Allahabad University accepts AU-PGAT exam scores for admission to MBA. The exam is conducted by Allahabad University. Candidates for admission to this course have to undergo an additional test conducted by the concerned department. Final merit is computed on the basis of a total of marks scored in PGAT and scores obtained by the students in the department-level additional test. Those who qualify and score well in the exam, such students are required to go through the counselling process conducted again by the university for final seat allotment.
Allahabad University MBA admission is not based on the applicant's merit in graduation. Candidate with a valid UG degree in any discipline is eligible to apply for the programme. Admission to the MBA programme is based on the applicant's score in the AU PGAT exam, followed by an additional department-level test. Hence, a candidate scoring less than 60% in graduation can get admission in Allahabad University for MBA, subject to their performance in the AU PGAT exam. In case a candidate fails to secure a seat for a regular MBA, they can check out the colleges/institutes offering online MBA courses. They can also explore the colleges offering part-time MBA courses.

Allahabad University BCA admission is not based on the applicant's merit in Class 12. It is based on their performance in CUET UG. Applicants just have to pass Class 12 with relevant subjects to be eligible to pursue BCA at the university. Hence, a candidate scoring less than 50% is eligible to apply for BCA at the university. However, they will only get an admission if they have a valid CUET UG score. If a candidate fails to secure a seat for BCA at Allahabad University, they can try to get admission at some other college offering the course.
