The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date for submission of online application forms for the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programmes (CUET-PG) 2026, following requests from candidates across the country.
As per the official public notice issued on January 14, candidates can now apply for CUET-PG 2026 till January 20, 2026 (up to 11:50 pm) through the official website, exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg.
CUET-PG 2026: Revised Schedule Announced by NTA
Along with extending the registration deadline, NTA has also revised the fee payment and correction window dates. The updated schedule is as follows:
- Last date for online application submission: January 20, 2026 (up to 11:50 pm)
- Last date for payment of examination fee: January 20, 2026 (up to 11:50 pm)
- Correction window for application form: January 23 to January 25, 2026 (up to 11:50 pm)
Candidates will be allowed to make corrections in the particulars submitted in their online application forms during the correction window, once it is activated.
CUET-PG 2026: Advisory for Candidates
NTA has clarified that the extension has been granted to enable aspiring candidates to complete the application process smoothly. Applicants are advised to carefully review all details entered in the form before final submission and fee payment.
Only those applications for which the prescribed examination fee is successfully paid will be considered valid. Candidates are also advised to regularly visit the official CUET-PG portal for updates and announcements related to the examination.
