ICAR relaxes PG admissions; third counseling round to start from December 12 onwards

ICAR has given a one-time relaxation to students applying to PG admissions; whereas the third counselling round will commence from December 12 onwards.

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has given candidates who are applying for admission to PG (Postgraduate) programmes have been given a one-time relaxation of submitting their Bachelor’s mark sheets latest by December 31, 2020. Due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, many universities have not been able to declare the results on time. However, candidates are mandatorily required to upload a certificate from the Registrar of the concerned university specifically indicating that the candidate shall be completing all the requirements for completion of graduation degree before December 13 along with mentioning the likely date of issuance of PDC/Degree to the candidate.

The second round of the ICAR counselling round is underway and today is the last date for seat acceptance fee deposition by candidates. The online document verification round has concluded and shortlisted students are required to submit the seat acceptance fee by 5:00 PM. Candidates who successfully pay the acceptance fee, will have to report online on the official website of the university in which the candidate has secured admission.
