ICMR JRF 2022 exam will be held on Friday, September 23. The exam will be held in computer-based mode at 20 designated centres across the country in single shift. PGIMER has already released the admit card for the exam. Candidates will have to download ICMR JRF 2022 admit card from the official website.

According to ICMR JRF 2022 pattern, the question paper will have three sections. Section A will be aptitude based questions which will be mandatory for all. It will have 50 questions. Candidates will have to answer either section B or C which will be life science and social science respectively. Each of these section will have 100 questions but candidates will have to answer 75 questions only from either of the section. The time duration will be 2 hours. According to the marking scheme, candidates will get +1 mark for right answer while there will be a deduction of -1 mark for every wrong answer. Candidates who belong to general category will have to score 55% marks to qualify for the exam. For SC/St category candidates, the qualifying cut off is 50%.

ICMR JRF 2022 Exam Guidelines

Candidates are advised to read all instructions given on the admit card for ICMR JRF 2022. Try to reach at the centre at the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. Some of the exam instructions have been enlisted below:

  • Candidates need to carry the hard copy of admit card along with other documents to the centre

  • They should bring a photo identity proof, a photograph, college ID as well

  • The photograph on the admit card should match with actual appearance and facial expression in the application, otherwise candidates will be liable for rejection

  • Candidates must report to the exam centre as per the 'reporting time' mentioned on the admit card

  • Those found guilty of indiscipline in the Examination Hall or of using unfair means of any nature shall be liable to be disqualified

  • Eatables are not allowed at the centre

  • Handbags, purse, wallet, electronic gadgets, calculators, watches, and ornaments are barred at the examination hall

  • Shoes/footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons will not be permitted
